History

Mauri’s School of Dance was founded by Mauri Hagen in 2004. Mauri had been a dancer since the age of five and had been teaching dance for over twenty years. She wanted to create a place where people could learn to dance in a safe and supportive environment.

The school was originally located in a small studio in Burnsville, but quickly outgrew its space. In 2008, the school moved to its current location, a large building with five studios.

Classes

Mauri’s School of Dance offers a variety of classes for all levels. Beginner classes include ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. More advanced classes include pointe, modern, and Latin dance.

The school also offers private lessons for those who want to focus on a particular style or technique. Private lessons are available for both children and adults.
