Natalie Duke Honkonen was my first female teacher when I started dancing in Morristown, NJ. I was always in awe about how beautiful she moves and thought that I would never ever do anything like that. However , with her loving heart and a great sense of humor, Natalie opened my eyes and shared her knowledge with me. I miss her dearly. We always had so much fun! As a raw beginner who wanted to learn some basic steps so I could keep up with my more skilled and experienced SO, Natalie was the perfect teacher. As an instructor, she is patient, skilled and, most important, she was able to clearly explain complex steps to a novice like me who doesn’t speak the language of ballroom.
