Our Mission

At the Yazoo City School of Dance, our mission is to provide a safe and fun learning environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and physical fitness. We strive to instill a love of dance in our students, while also teaching them the fundamentals of technique and proper dance form.

Our Classes

The Yazoo City School of Dance offers a variety of classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes include:

Ballet

Our ballet classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of classical ballet technique. We focus on proper body alignment, strength, flexibility, and musicality. Our classes are suitable for students of all ages and abilities.

Jazz

Our jazz classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of jazz technique. We focus on proper body alignment, strength, flexibility, and musicality. Our classes are suitable for students of all ages and abilities.

Tap

Our tap classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of tap technique. We focus on proper body alignment, strength, flexibility, and musicality. Our classes are suitable for students of all ages and abilities.

Hip-Hop

Our hip-hop classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of hip-hop technique. We focus on proper body alignment, strength, flexibility, and musicality. Our classes are suitable for students of all ages and abilities.

Private Lessons

The Yazoo City School of Dance also offers private lessons for all ages and abilities. Private lessons are tailored to the individual’s needs and goals, and they provide an opportunity for the student to receive personalized instruction and attention.

Our Facilities

The Yazoo City School of Dance is located in a spacious facility with two large studios. Each studio is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system and a sprung floor, which provides optimal safety and comfort for our dancers. The facility also includes a lobby, changing rooms, and a snack bar.

Our Staff

The Yazoo City School of Dance is staffed by a team of experienced and knowledgeable instructors who are passionate about dance and committed to providing a positive and encouraging learning environment. All of our instructors have received professional training in their respective disciplines and are certified in first aid and CPR.

Schedule and Contacts

The Yazoo City School of Dance is open Tuesday and Thursday from 3-8 PM. We are closed on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
