Yap Studio is a dance school located in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. We specialize in all forms of dance, from ballroom and Latin to hip-hop and breakdancing. Our mission is to bring dance to the Wilkesboro area, and to provide a safe and fun environment for all ages and skill levels.

Our History

Yap Studio was founded in 2008 by two passionate dancers, Cara and John Yap. After attending dance classes at a local studio, they decided to open their own studio to bring dance to the Wilkesboro area. Since then, Yap Studio has grown to become one of the most respected dance schools in the region, offering classes for all ages and skill levels.

Our Classes

At Yap Studio, we offer a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels. Our beginner classes are designed to help you build the foundation for a lifelong love of dance. We also offer intermediate and advanced classes, which will help you refine your skills and learn new techniques. We also offer specialty classes such as hip-hop, breakdancing, and Latin dance.

Our Instructors

Our instructors are highly experienced and passionate about dance. They have years of experience teaching all levels of dance, and are dedicated to helping you reach your goals. Our instructors are also certified in First Aid and CPR, so you can rest assured that you are in safe hands.

Our Facilities

Yap Studio is located in a spacious, well-lit facility in Wilkesboro. We have two large studios, one for ballroom and Latin dance and one for hip-hop and breakdancing. Both studios are equipped with professional sound systems and a variety of props and equipment. We also have a comfortable lounge area where you can relax and watch your favorite dance shows.

Our Schedule and Contacts

Yap Studio is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 8pm, and Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Our classes are held throughout the week, and we offer private lessons by appointment.
