History

Y Academy of Dance was founded in 2005 by a group of passionate dancers who wanted to share their love of dance with others. Since then, Y Academy of Dance has grown to become one of the leading dance training centres in the United States. Y Academy of Dance has become a home for dancers of all ages and levels. We strive to create a positive learning atmosphere where students are encouraged to explore their creativity and express themselves through dance.

Programs

Y Academy of Dance offers a wide variety of classes, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary. All classes are taught by experienced and certified instructors. We also offer private lessons for those who want to focus on a specific style or technique.

Y Academy of Dance also offers performance opportunities for its students. We host an annual recital and also offer opportunities to perform in local competitions and festivals.

Facilities

Y Academy of Dance is located in Pittsburg, Kansas and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Our facility includes two large studios with sprung floors, mirrors, and a sound system. We also have a lounge area for students to relax and a fully-stocked snack bar.

Schedule and Contacts

Y Academy of Dance is open Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
