Wilkins School of Dance is a dance school located in Newport News, Virginia. History

Wilkins School of Dance was founded in 1998 by professional dancer and choreographer, John Wilkins. With over 20 years of experience in the dance industry, John was determined to create a school that would provide quality instruction and a positive learning environment for all of its students.

Mission

The mission of Wilkins School of Dance is to provide quality dance instruction to students of all ages and abilities. We strive to create a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and a love of dance. We believe that dancing should be a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Classes and Programs

Wilkins School of Dance offers a variety of classes and programs for all ages and abilities. Our classes include: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Ballroom Dancing. We also offer private lessons and group classes for those who wish to take their dancing to the next level. In addition, we offer a variety of performance opportunities for our students throughout the year.

Wilkins School of Dance is proud to have a faculty of highly trained and experienced dance professionals. Our faculty members have extensive experience in the dance industry and are dedicated to providing quality instruction and a positive learning environment for all of our students.
