Mission Statement

White River Ballet Academy is dedicated to providing quality ballet instruction in a safe and nurturing environment. We strive to foster a love of dance in our students, while also teaching them the fundamentals of classical ballet technique.

History

White River Ballet Academy was founded in 1996 by former professional dancer and choreographer, Susan White. Susan had a vision to create a ballet school that would provide quality instruction to dancers of all ages and skill levels.

Since its founding, White River Ballet Academy has grown to become one of the most respected ballet schools in the United States. The academy has been featured in numerous publications, including Dance Magazine, Dance Teacher Magazine, and Dance Spirit Magazine.

Programs

White River Ballet Academy offers a variety of classes and programs for dancers of all ages and skill levels. The academy offers both recreational and pre-professional classes, as well as summer intensives and performance opportunities.

Recreational Classes

White River Ballet Academy offers recreational classes for dancers ages 3 and up. These classes are designed to introduce young dancers to the fundamentals of ballet technique and to foster a love of dance.

Pre-Professional Classes

White River Ballet Academy also offers pre-professional classes for more advanced dancers. These classes are designed to help dancers hone their technique and prepare for a career in dance.

Summer Intensives

White River Ballet Academy offers performance opportunities for its students. The academy puts on an annual performance of The Nutcracker, as well as other performances throughout the year.
