The school was founded in 2005 by owner/director, Jody Laskin. Jody has been teaching dance for more than 25 years and has trained in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and contemporary. Jody is also a certified teacher of the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum.

At Voltage Dance & Owner, students can learn a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and more. The classes are designed to help students develop their technique, artistry, and performance skills. The school also offers workshops on topics such as improvisation, choreography, and performance.
