Towson University Community Dance is a dance school and arts organization located in Towson, Maryland. Established in 2008, Towson University Community Dance (TUCD) is dedicated to providing quality dance instruction and performance opportunities to the community. TUCD offers a variety of classes, workshops, and special events, including ballroom dance, Latin dance, hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary styles, as well as social dance and fitness classes.

History

Towson University Community Dance was established in 2008 by Towson University’s Department of Performing Arts. The mission of TUCD is to provide quality dance instruction and performance opportunities to the community, while promoting an appreciation of the art of dance. Since its inception, TUCD has become an integral part of the Towson University community and a leader in the local dance scene.

Programs

Towson University Community Dance offers a variety of classes, workshops, and special events. The classes offered include ballroom dance, Latin dance, hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary styles, as well as social dance and fitness classes. TUCD also offers workshops and special events, such as master classes with guest instructors and performances by local and national artists.

Faculty

The faculty at Towson University Community Dance is comprised of experienced and highly qualified dance instructors. All instructors have extensive training and experience in their respective styles of dance. The instructors are passionate about dance and strive to provide a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Towson University Community Dance is located at 8000 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204. The studio is conveniently located near the Towson University campus and is easily accessible by public transportation.

Schedule and Contacts

Towson University Community Dance is open Monday through Wednesday from 12-7 PM and Thursday from 12-6 PM. The studio is closed on Fridays and Saturdays and open on Sundays from 8:30 AM-12:30 PM.
