The Tango room is the heart of the LA tango community. We have enjoyed Julie’ and Angel’s hospitality for 20 years! We have seen numerous world class tango dancers perform there! We have made dozens of friends there since we have settled in LA 20 years ago! We cannot imagine theLAtango scene without the warmth and charm of this magic place!

The Tango Room is not only the best place to learn tango in LA, but it also offers a unique opportunity to meet wonderful people and become part of a tight-knit, friendly, caring, and highly diverse community, which eventually becomes family to many. The owners are the kindest and most welcoming people.

Wonderful floor (so easy on the knees). Tango Room offers top notch classes with international dance teachers. It is the go to place on Saturday night if you dance tango. If you don’t, you should check out their beginners classes and get into it. Julie and Angel are wonderful people!

Good dance shows every year. I have met nice people here. I like the instructor Marta. The downside is that the parking lot is small and you may need to find street parking on an event night. The refund policy could use improvement.
