The Dance Warehouse from Chanhassen is a dance school, dance company and dance studio located in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Founded in 1981, the Dance Warehouse is a family-owned business that has been providing quality dance instruction for over 35 years.

History

The Dance Warehouse was founded by husband and wife, Bob and Judy Smith. Bob and Judy have been teaching dance for over 40 years and have been involved in the dance industry for over 30 years. Bob and Judy have been teaching dance in the Twin Cities area since 1981.

The Dance Warehouse has been a member of the National Dance Council of America (NDCA) since 1985 and is a member of the International DanceSport Federation (IDSF). The Dance Warehouse is also a member of the United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association (USABDA).

Programs and Classes

The Dance Warehouse offers a variety of classes for all levels and ages. These classes include Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country, and Hip Hop. The Dance Warehouse also offers private lessons, group classes, and workshops.

The Dance Warehouse also offers a competitive dance program. This program includes both solo and team competitions. The Dance Warehouse has had several teams compete at the National DanceSport Championships, the World DanceSport Federation World Championships, and the United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association National Championships.

Facilities and Equipment

The Dance Warehouse is located in a 6,000 square foot facility. The Dance Warehouse has three dance studios, a fitness center, a lounge, and a changing area. The Dance Warehouse also has a variety of equipment, such as a sprung floor, mirrors, and dancewear.

Staff

The Dance Warehouse has a staff of experienced and knowledgeable instructors. The instructors at the Dance Warehouse have been trained in a variety of dance styles, including Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country, and Hip Hop. The instructors at the Dance Warehouse are also certified by the National Dance Council of America (NDCA) and the International DanceSport Federation (IDSF).

Events

The Dance Warehouse hosts a variety of events throughout the year. These events include social dances, competitions, workshops, and performances. The Dance Warehouse also hosts special events such as the Annual Dance Showcase and the Annual Ballroom Dance Camp.
