About Teelin Irish Dance

Teelin Irish Dance is a dance school located in Columbia, Maryland. Founded in 2002, Teelin Irish Dance has been providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages and levels. We offer classes in all styles of Irish dance, as well as a variety of other dance styles, including ballroom, Latin, ballet, and jazz. Our instructors are all professionally trained and certified in their respective areas of expertise.

At Teelin, we strive to provide our students with a safe and encouraging environment to learn and grow. We believe in the importance of having fun while learning, and our classes are designed to be both educational and entertaining. Our instructors are passionate about their craft and take pride in helping our students reach their fullest potential.

Teelin Irish Dance is an active member of the Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America (IDTANA), and all of our instructors are certified by the IDTANA. We are also a proud member of the Irish Dance Teachers Association of Maryland (IDTAM).

Our Classes

At Teelin Irish Dance, we offer a variety of classes for all levels and ages. Our classes include:

Irish Dance

We offer classes in all styles of Irish dance, including solo, ceili, and set dancing. Our classes are designed to help our students develop a strong foundation in Irish dance technique and style.

Ballroom Dance

Our ballroom classes are designed to help our students develop the skills and techniques necessary to perform and compete in all styles of ballroom dance.

Latin Dance

Our Latin classes focus on teaching the fundamentals of Latin dance, including salsa, cha-cha, and mambo.

Ballet

Our ballet classes are designed to help our students develop a strong foundation in classical ballet technique.

Jazz Dance

Our jazz classes are designed to help our students develop a strong foundation in jazz technique.
