First time shopper in TJMax/Marshell in New York City. Enjoyed every moment of it. TJMax upstairs and Marshell located downstairs. They are two separate stores and both had their own unique merchandises. Neither one is as large as the ones in New Jersey but being in NY made it special for me. I espically loved the runway collections in TJMAX. Staffs are friendly except the dressing rooms could use vacuuming. I accidentally dropped an apparel and a tons of lints and dusts were stuck on to it.

This is my favorite TJ Maxx store in the city, there’s a great variety of inventory. I will say though that the shoe section is EXTREMELY lacking. Do not come here if you’re looking for quality shoes, I suggest you go to Nordstrom Rack instead. The cosmetics section is my favorite, you have to come regularly and go for a hunt, but you can find brands like MAC, Anastasia, Living Proof, Murad, Stila etc. They mostly carry limited edition products from past seasons.

The check out lines in this location moves faster than a train. There usually is a very long line but I never wait long due to how great the employees work as a team. Great management on handling these lines in a fast and timely fashion. This store should be an example to other stores in managing great service. My hat goes off to mangement and staff. Thank you for making my shopping experience awesome.

When I first walked into this TJ Maxx store I encountered a warming, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of helpful and knowledgeable staff to help you with whatever you need. There are numerous high quality items to choose from, which are still good prices, and nice displays. I would like to visit this store soon again, and would recommend this store to anyone looking for practically anything.
