Introducing Susan’s School of Dance

Located in Munster, Indiana, Susan’s School of Dance (SSD) is a premier dance school that has been providing high-quality dance instruction for over 30 years. The school is owned and operated by Susan, a professional dancer and choreographer who has been a leader in the dance community for many years.

At SSD, we believe that dance is a powerful form of expression and that everyone should have the opportunity to experience it. We offer a wide variety of classes, from beginner to advanced, for all ages and skill levels. Our classes are taught by experienced instructors who are passionate about their craft and dedicated to helping our students reach their goals.

We also offer a variety of performance opportunities throughout the year, so our students can show off their hard work and dedication.

Our Classes and Programs

At SSD, we offer a variety of classes and programs for all ages and skill levels. We provide instruction in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, tap, and more. We also offer specialty classes, such as ballroom dancing, Latin dancing, and wedding dance classes.

Our beginner classes are designed for those who are just starting out and want to learn the basics. We also offer intermediate and advanced classes for those who want to take their dance skills to the next level.

In addition to our regular classes, we also offer a variety of performance opportunities throughout the year. We host an annual recital in the spring, as well as a holiday show in the winter. We also offer workshops and master classes with some of the top dancers and choreographers in the industry.

Our Faculty

At SSD, we are proud to have some of the best instructors in the industry. Our faculty is made up of experienced and passionate dancers and choreographers who are dedicated to helping our students reach their goals.

Our instructors are well-versed in a variety of dance styles and are always looking for new ways to challenge and inspire our students. We strive to create an environment where our students can learn and grow in a safe and welcoming space.

Our Facilities

At SSD, we are proud to offer a state-of-the-art facility for our students. Our studio is equipped with high-quality sound and lighting systems, as well as a sprung wooden floor that is perfect for dancing. We also have a comfortable lounge area where our students can relax and take a break.

Schedule and Contacts

We are open Monday through Thursday from 4-9 PM and Saturday from 9 AM-11 PM. We are closed on Fridays and Sundays.
