History

Surge Dance Complex was founded in 2009 by dance enthusiast and entrepreneur, John Smith. John had a passion for dance and wanted to create a place where people of all ages and skill levels could come together and learn to dance.

Since its inception, Surge Dance Complex has become one of the leading dance schools in the United States. It has been featured in numerous publications and has won numerous awards, including the Ohio Dance Association’s “Dance School of the Year” award in 2017.
