The Superior Dance Academy, located in Marquette, Michigan, is a premier dance school dedicated to providing quality instruction in a variety of dance styles. Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students of all ages and skill levels to learn and grow in the art of dance.

History

The Superior Dance Academy was founded in 2003 by professional dancer and choreographer, Mary Ann Smith. With a passion for dance, Mary Ann envisioned a place where students could learn and grow in the art of dance. She opened the Superior Dance Academy with the goal of providing quality instruction in a variety of dance styles.

Our Instructors

Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in a variety of dance styles. Our instructors have extensive experience teaching all levels of students, from beginner to advanced. We also have instructors who specialize in specific styles of dance, such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, and contemporary. Our instructors are dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for our students.

Classes and Programs

The Superior Dance Academy offers a variety of classes and programs for students of all ages and skill levels. We offer classes in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, and contemporary. We also offer a variety of specialty classes, such as acrobatics, musical theater, and Latin dance.

In addition to our classes, we also offer private lessons and workshops. Our private lessons are tailored to the individual student and can be tailored to the style of dance they are interested in. Our workshops are designed to provide students with an in-depth look at a particular style of dance.

Events and Performances

The Superior Dance Academy also hosts a variety of events and performances throughout the year. Our annual recital is a highlight of the year and is a great opportunity for our students to showcase their skills. We also host workshops and master classes with professional dancers and choreographers.
