Studio 1 Dance Center is the premier dance school in Orem, Utah. Located in the heart of the city, Studio 1 provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for dancers of all ages and levels. We offer a wide range of classes, from beginner to advanced, in all styles of dance, including ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and Latin. Our highly experienced instructors provide personalized instruction and choreography to ensure that each student gets the most out of their dance experience.

At Studio 1, we believe that dance is a powerful tool for self-expression, creativity, and physical fitness. History

Studio 1 Dance Center was founded in 2001 by professional dancer and instructor, Maria Lopez. Maria had a vision of creating a space where dancers of all ages and levels could come together and explore the joys of dance. Since then, Studio 1 has grown into a thriving dance school, offering classes for children, teens, and adults. We strive to provide the highest quality of instruction and customer service, and we are dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential.

Classes & Programs

Studio 1 offers a wide range of classes and programs for dancers of all ages and levels. Our classes are designed to help dancers develop their technique, coordination, and confidence in a safe and supportive environment. We offer classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and Latin. We also offer private lessons and group classes, as well as summer camps and workshops.

Beginner Classes

We offer beginner classes for dancers of all ages. Our beginner classes are designed to introduce students to the basics of dance and give them a foundation for further study. We focus on proper technique, coordination, and musicality, while also encouraging creativity and self-expression.

Intermediate & Advanced Classes

We also offer intermediate and advanced classes for dancers who are ready to take their skills to the next level. Our instructors provide personalized instruction and choreography to ensure that each student gets the most out of their dance experience. We focus on perfecting technique, developing artistry, and exploring new styles and genres.

Performance Opportunities

At Studio 1, we believe that performance is an essential part of the dance experience. We offer a variety of performance opportunities throughout the year, giving our students the chance to showcase their hard work and talent. Our performances include competitions, recitals, and community events.
