Our daughter has danced with Stavna Ballet for many years, and Stavna provided her with a stellar dance education. The teachers and staff at Stavna became her second family, and were a huge part of her pursuing a career in dance. If you are looking for an afterschool activity, there are lots of dance studios around. But if you are looking for a place to learn the art and technique of dance at the highest level, Shannon McConville and Stavna Ballet are the best option in the Richmond area.

Both of my daughters and I absolutely love Stavna. Not only are they learning how to dance, the dance instructors have become positive role models and they are building meaningful friendships with their classmates. It is a happy environment that is very well organized and year after year the showcases amaze me with creativity! This will be our fourth year coming up and we couldn’t ask for more! ❤️

We love Stavna! Every week my four-year-old daughter is so excited for ballet, and she comes out of class with a huge smile on her face. While she is having fun, I appreciate that she is learning crucial skills – coordination, spatial awareness, memory development, and the list goes on. We highly recommend Stavna.

We have 2 girl's who have loved dancing there for the past 5 years. Being a part of the academy has allowed them to participate in a full length ballet performance, which is in addition to the spring recital. They have improved in their dancing technique, while enjoying every minute of it!
