Starstruck Dance Academy is a dance company located in Cortland, Ohio. We offer a variety of dance classes and services for all ages and abilities. Our mission is to provide a safe and fun environment for people to learn and grow in the art of dance. We strive to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for our students and staff. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of dance, no matter their age, ability, or background.

History

Starstruck Dance Academy was founded in 2005 by professional dancer and choreographer, Maryanne Smith. Maryanne has been teaching and performing in the dance industry for over 20 years. She has worked with some of the most renowned dance companies in the world, including the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Joffrey Ballet, and the Royal Ballet.

Starstruck Dance Academy was created to provide a place for people of all ages and abilities to learn and grow in the art of dance. We offer classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and more. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while also teaching valuable skills and techniques.

Facilities

Starstruck Dance Academy is located in a spacious, state-of-the-art facility in Cortland, Ohio. We have two large studios, both equipped with sprung floors, professional sound systems, and full-length mirrors. Our facility also includes a reception area, a dressing room, and a lounge area for our students and staff.

Classes

Starstruck Dance Academy offers a variety of classes for all ages and abilities. We have classes for toddlers, children, teens, and adults. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while also teaching valuable skills and techniques.

Our classes include ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and more. We also offer private lessons and group classes. We also offer competitive dance teams for those interested in competing.

Staff

Starstruck Dance Academy is staffed by experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Our staff is committed to providing a safe and fun learning environment for our students. We strive to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for our students and staff.

Schedule and Contacts

Starstruck Dance Academy is open Monday through Thursday from 4-8:30 PM, and Saturday from 8:30 AM-2 PM. We are closed on Friday and Sunday.
