Starr Dance Company is a premier dance school located in Roseland, New Jersey. Our mission is to provide quality dance instruction and performance opportunities to dancers of all ages and levels. We strive to create an atmosphere of learning, creativity, and enjoyment for our students.

Our History

Starr Dance Company was founded in 2005 by professional ballroom dancer and instructor, Starr Davis. Starr has been teaching and competing in ballroom dance for over 25 years. She has won numerous awards in the competitive ballroom dance world, including the US Open Professional Latin Championship.

Starr opened the school to share her passion for dance with others and to provide a place for students to learn, practice, and perform. Since opening, the school has grown to become one of the most respected dance schools in the area.

Our Programs

At Starr Dance Company, we offer a variety of classes and programs for dancers of all ages and levels. We offer classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and ballroom. Our instructors are experienced professionals who are dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential.

We also offer competitive ballroom dance programs for both children and adults. Our competitive dance team is made up of experienced and dedicated dancers who compete in regional and national competitions.

Our Facilities

Starr Dance Company is located in a spacious and modern facility in Roseland, New Jersey. Our facility is equipped with two large dance studios, a viewing area for parents, and a lounge for students. We also have a fully-stocked pro shop with dancewear and accessories.

At Starr Dance Company, we believe in providing performance opportunities for our students. We host several events throughout the year, including recitals, showcases, and competitions. We also host workshops and master classes with some of the top instructors and performers in the industry.
