Our History

Stafford Ballet Academy was founded in 1989 by the renowned choreographer and dance instructor, Doreen Stafford. Since then, we have grown into one of the most respected and established ballet schools in the United States. Our academy has been featured in numerous publications, including The Washington Post, The New York Times, and Dance Magazine.

Our Programs

At Stafford Ballet Academy, we offer a variety of classes for all ages and levels of experience. Our classes range from beginner to advanced, and include ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, tap, and hip hop. We also offer private instruction and semi-private classes. Our classes are taught by experienced and highly trained instructors, who are dedicated to helping each student reach their fullest potential.

Our Facilities

Stafford Ballet Academy is housed in a modern, spacious facility located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Our facility includes two large studios, with sprung floors and full-length mirrors, as well as a practice studio and a dressing room. Our facility is equipped with the latest in audio and visual technology, allowing for a more interactive and engaging learning experience.
