The Silver Spring Dance Conservatory (SSDC) is a dance school located in Columbia, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2020, SSDC is dedicated to providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages and abilities. The school offers a variety of classes for children, teens, and adults, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and ballroom dance. Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in their respective disciplines.

At SSDC, we strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment for our students. We believe that everyone can learn to dance, and our instructors work hard to ensure that all of our students feel comfortable and confident in their abilities. We also offer a variety of performance opportunities for our students, including recitals, competitions, and community events.

Classes

At SSDC, we offer a variety of classes for all levels and ages. Our classes are designed to help our students learn the fundamentals of dance, while also having fun and developing confidence in their abilities. Our classes include:

• Ballet: Our ballet classes provide a foundation in the fundamentals of ballet technique, including posture, alignment, and proper placement. Our classes are designed to help our students develop strength, flexibility, and grace.

• Jazz: Our jazz classes focus on developing rhythm and musicality, as well as the fundamentals of jazz technique. Our classes are designed to help our students develop strength, coordination, and style.

• Tap: Our tap classes focus on developing rhythm and musicality, as well as the fundamentals of tap technique. Our classes are designed to help our students develop strength, coordination, and style.

• Hip Hop: Our hip hop classes focus on developing rhythm and musicality, as well as the fundamentals of hip hop technique. Our classes are designed to help our students develop strength, coordination, and style.

• Contemporary: Our contemporary classes focus on developing technique, musicality, and expression. Our classes are designed to help our students develop strength, flexibility, and artistry.

• Ballroom: Our ballroom classes focus on developing technique, musicality, and expression. Our classes are designed to help our students develop strength, coordination, and style.

Performance Opportunities

At SSDC, we believe that performance is an important part of the learning process. We offer a variety of performance opportunities for our students, including recitals, competitions, and community events. Our performance opportunities provide our students with the chance to showcase their hard work and dedication.
