Shining Starz Dance Academy is a premier dance school located in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. We offer a variety of dance classes for all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced. Our mission is to provide a safe and inspiring environment for our students to learn and grow in the art of dance.

History

Shining Starz Dance Academy was founded in 2002 by professional dancers and choreographers, Roberta and Bruno DeFilippo. With a combined experience of over 40 years in the dance industry, they wanted to create a school that would provide a high-quality dance education to the local community.

They opened the doors of Shining Starz in 2002 and have since grown into a successful and well-respected dance school. We have trained thousands of students in the art of dance, and many of our students have gone on to pursue successful careers in the performing arts.

Classes

At Shining Starz Dance Academy, we offer a variety of classes for all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced. Our classes include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theater, and more. We also offer private lessons, group classes, and workshops.

Our instructors are experienced professionals who are passionate about teaching and inspiring our students. We strive to create a positive and supportive environment where our students can learn and grow in the art of dance.

Events

We host a variety of events throughout the year, including performances, competitions, and social dances. Our events are open to the public and provide a great opportunity for our students to showcase their skills and have fun.

We also offer summer camps and intensive workshops, which provide our students with an opportunity to hone their skills and learn from some of the best dancers in the world.

Working Hours

Our studio is open Monday through Thursday from 4pm to 8pm, and Friday from 4pm to 6pm. We are closed on weekends and holidays.
