Shea Dances was founded in 2007 by Shelley and Rob Shea. Shelley had been teaching ballroom dancing for years and wanted to create a school to share her love of dance with others. Rob, a professional dancer, joined forces with Shelley to create a school that would offer quality dance instruction to students of all ages and skill levels.

Since its founding, Shea Dances has become a staple of the North Vernon community. The school has been featured in local newspapers and has been praised for its commitment to teaching quality dance instruction.
