About SDC Studio of Dance and Cheer

SDC Studio of Dance and Cheer is a dance school located in New Braunfels, Texas, USA. It was founded in 2006 by professional dancer and choreographer, Marcy D. Collins. The studio offers a variety of classes in different dance styles, as well as after-school programs, gymnastics classes, and youth organizations.

The studio is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and educational environment where students can explore their creativity and passion for dance. The studio’s instructors are highly trained and experienced in their respective disciplines, and strive to help each student reach their highest potential.

At SDC, we believe in the power of dance to bring joy and self-expression to people of all ages and backgrounds. We are passionate about creating a space where everyone can feel welcome and accepted, and where students can find the courage and confidence to express themselves through movement.

At SDC, we offer a wide range of classes for all levels and ages. Our classes include:

Dance Classes

Ballet: Our ballet classes focus on the fundamentals of classical ballet technique, with an emphasis on proper alignment and posture.

Jazz: Our jazz classes combine elements of classical technique with modern and contemporary styles.

Hip-Hop: Our hip-hop classes combine elements of street dance and funk styles, with an emphasis on rhythm and musicality.

Tap: Our tap classes focus on the fundamentals of tap technique, with an emphasis on rhythm and musicality.

Contemporary: Our contemporary classes focus on exploring movement through improvisation and experimentation.

Gymnastics Classes

• Two large dance studios with sprung floors and professional audio systems

• A gymnastics center with a variety of equipment and obstacles

• A lounge area with comfortable seating and refreshments

• A changing room with lockers and showers

• A retail area with dancewear, shoes, and accessories

Schedule and Contacts

SDC Studio of Dance and Cheer is open Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 8pm, and Friday from 3:30pm to 6pm. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
