An empowered, inclusive, nurturing dance community developed under the expert tutelage of Artistic Director & Owner, Ms. Laura Wexler. We’re a SFDS forever family with two high-schoolers now enrolled in Asawa SOTA’s Dance Program and a little one who pirouettes 24/7. The infectious esprit Ms. Laura brings to her classes day in and day out is a marvel, as are her annual spring ballet theater productions!

My daughter has danced with Miss Laura and her team for many years and has grown as a dancer and as a person. She has learned the techniques of ballet, but more importantly she has developed an appreciation for hard work and commitment, compassion for others and herself, as well as deep friendships with the other dancers with whom she has danced for many years.

I love San Francisco dance space with all my heart. It’s been nearly 11 years since I first started dancing there and has been a wonderful and lifting journey ever since. The teachers are so incredibly talented and influential to young aspiring dancers. The owner, Laura Wexler has been one of the most loving and hardest working people I have met.

We feel so lucky to have an amazing wonderful place like this in sf- Ballet and Contemporary classes are top notch! My daughter liked dance when she enrolled and now years later she loves it. Thanks to this dance school and the wonderful community and kind, professional owner, my daughter and many of her fellow dancers have found their passion.
