I've practiced and danced under Maritza's mentor for at least two years and she is one of the best instructors in Oklahoma. I have come from am absolute beginner to an intermediated – advanced dancer with her help. She has a very methodical approach that will helps learners approach the moves easier. Also, she can make you laugh which make the whole learning experience very fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend her if you want to learn salsa and other latin dances like bachata, merengue.

I took an entire course with Maritza back in 2009. I was impressed to find how easy she made it to learn Salsa. Not only is she a passionate teacher who enjoys what she does, she is charismatic and will work with you at your pace to make sure you learn to dance and enjoy salsa at its best. I still remember my salsa moves up to this day, and I display them every time there is a chance to dance. Thank you Maritza!

I just attended my second salsa class and I am so hooked. It’s such a wonderful community and the teachers are so kind, patient and knowledgeable. I have been wanting to do something like this here in OKC for a while and I’m so so glad this studio and community exists. They also host socials monthly and let you know every week where you can be going out to dance in the area and get some practice with friends!

I've taken several classes from professional dancers all over the states and Maritza's methodology and pedagogy towards salsa is hard to beat. She is very passionate and a great great teacher.
