Roxey Ballet Company was founded by Artistic Director Mark Roxey in 1998 in New Hope, Pennsylvania. Mark Roxey is a professional dancer and choreographer who has been dancing since the age of four. He has studied at the School of American Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet School, and the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance.

Roxey Ballet Company has been performing for over twenty years and has become one of the most respected dance companies in the United States. The company has performed in various venues throughout the United States, including the Joyce Theater in New York City, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago.
