Rockford Dance Company is an award-winning dance company located in Rockford, Illinois. We specialize in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop. We are dedicated to providing high-quality instruction, performance opportunities, and community outreach programs for all ages and abilities.

Rockford Dance Company was founded in 2009 by Artistic Director, Kaila Anderson. Kaila is a professional dancer and choreographer with over 20 years of experience in the dance industry. She has trained and performed with some of the most renowned companies in the world, including the Joffrey Ballet, the Martha Graham Dance Company, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

At Rockford Dance Company, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of dance. We offer classes for all ages and abilities, from beginner to advanced. We also offer workshops and master classes for more experienced dancers.

Our instructors are highly qualified professionals, and our classes are designed to be interactive and fun for all. We strive to provide a safe and positive environment for our students to learn and grow in.

Performance Opportunities

Rockford Dance Company is committed to providing performance opportunities for our students. We offer several performance opportunities throughout the year, including our annual spring recital and our “Dance in the Park” series.

Our annual spring recital is a chance for our students to showcase their hard work and talent. Our “Dance in the Park” series gives our students the opportunity to perform in public spaces and share their love of dance with the community.

Community Outreach Programs

At Rockford Dance Company, we are committed to giving back to the community. We offer several community outreach programs, including free classes for underserved youth and scholarships for aspiring dancers. We also participate in events such as the Rockford Dance Festival and the Rockford Dance Parade.
