The Queen of Scots Dance Academy is a premier dance school located in Shelby Twp, Michigan, USA. Founded in 2007, the academy has been providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages and abilities. Our mission is to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful dancers, whether they are looking to compete, perform, or just enjoy the art of dance.

Our History

The Queen of Scots Dance Academy was founded in 2007 by former competitive dancer and choreographer, Petra Williams. With a passion for teaching and a commitment to excellence, Petra has been able to create a unique learning environment that focuses on the individual needs of each student.

The academy has grown from a small group of students to a thriving dance school with over 100 students. We offer a wide range of classes, from competitive dance to recreational classes, as well as private lessons and workshops.

Our Facilities

Queen of Scots Dance Academy is proud to have some of the best facilities in the area. Our spacious studio is equipped with a sprung floor, full-length mirrors, and a state-of-the-art sound system. We also have a comfortable lounge area for parents and students to relax and socialize.

Our Schedule

Queen of Scots Dance Academy offers classes throughout the week. Our schedule is as follows:

• Monday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
• Tuesday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
• Wednesday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
• Thursday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
• Friday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Sunday: Closed

Our office hours are Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm.
