I absolutely love everything about this studio! ALL of the instructors have their own style, so it’s fun to take multiple classes a week. Also the owner Devon has wonderful customer service, she is always quick to solve any issue, or answer questions right away! It’s very nice to see some of the same faces every week in class, everyone is at their own level within the class level and I always get a ton of body positivity and support from so many people.
The instructors are a god send— Kind and encouraging. With their support, I’ve realized I’m capable of more than I could’ve dreamed. I haven’t had the best experience with the owner, Devon, though. Most of our interactions they have been really rude, assumptious/accusatory, or passive aggressive. Lucky for them this is the only pole studio in DC, so I’ll keep the rating based on the experiences I have when I don’t have to engage with them.
Booked a private class for Lesbifriends Travel, a queer female group to experience pole dancing. The entire process from booking, to sharing information with class participants, to the actual class was smooth. Devon, the owner, is professional, fabulous, and a lot of fun. We all had different fitness levels and our instructor, Devon as well, made it easy to pick up the routine. We all had a really good time. We will be back again!
I have enjoyed my pole journey here. The instructors are encouraging and knowledgeable and I have found the classes to be fun of the type of positive energy I need to get my feet off the ground. There are a variety of options for all levels & they offer private and virtual lessons as well. The price is worth it. I’d definitely recommend joining this studio if you’re looking to build your skills or your confidence.
