The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts (PSPA) is a dance school located in the heart of Newtown, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1991, it is one of the oldest and most respected dance schools in the United States. With a commitment to excellence, PSPA has grown to become a leader in the dance education field.

History

PSPA was founded in 1991 by two professional dancers, Robert and Elizabeth Sipes. Robert and Elizabeth wanted to create a place where students of all ages and backgrounds could come together to learn the art of dance. Since then, PSPA has become a leader in the field of dance education.

Mission

The mission of PSPA is to provide quality dance education and training to students of all ages and backgrounds. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment where students can explore their creativity and develop their skills in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Classes

PSPA offers a variety of classes for all levels of experience. From beginner to advanced, our classes provide students with the opportunity to explore their creativity and develop their skills in a positive and encouraging atmosphere. We offer classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and more.

Performing Arts Theater

In addition to our dance classes, PSPA also offers a performing arts theater. Our theater provides students with the opportunity to perform in front of an audience and gain valuable experience in stage performance. We also offer workshops and master classes in acting, singing, and more.

Music School

PSPA also offers a music school. Our music school provides students with the opportunity to learn and develop their skills in a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, drums, and more. We also offer music theory classes and private lessons.

Faculty

At PSPA, we are proud to have a faculty of highly qualified and experienced teachers. Our teachers are dedicated to helping our students reach their goals and providing them with the best possible education.

Schedule and Contacts

PSPA is open Monday through Thursday from 4-9 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. We are closed on Fridays and Sundays.
