Peconic Ballet Theatre is a premier ballet school located in Riverhead, New York. Since its founding in 2002, Peconic Ballet Theatre has been dedicated to providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages and levels. The school offers a wide range of classes, from beginner to advanced, in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary dance.

History

Peconic Ballet Theatre was founded in 2002 by Artistic Director and former professional dancer, Christine Miller. Miller has been teaching and choreographing professionally for over 20 years. She has trained and performed with many of the most renowned companies in the world, including the Royal Ballet of London, the American Ballet Theatre, and the San Francisco Ballet.

Miller established Peconic Ballet Theatre with the mission of providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages and levels. In addition to teaching classes, the school also produces several annual productions, including the popular “Nutcracker” and the original “Peconic Ballet Theatre”.

Classes

Peconic Ballet Theatre offers a wide range of classes for students of all ages and levels. The school offers classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary dance. All classes are taught by experienced and qualified instructors who are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential.

The school also offers private lessons for students who are looking for more individualized instruction. Private lessons are available for all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Performances

In addition to teaching classes, Peconic Ballet Theatre also produces several annual productions. The school’s most popular production is the “Nutcracker”, which is performed each December. The school also produces the original “Peconic Ballet Theatre”, which is performed each year in April. Both productions feature performances by students of all ages and levels.

Peconic Ballet Theatre is located at 71 E Main St, Riverhead, NY 11901. The school is open Monday through Friday from 4-8 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM. The school is closed on Sundays.
