Our History

Parker Dance Academy was founded in 2005 by professional dancer and choreographer, Lauren Parker. Lauren has been dancing since she was a child and has been teaching dance for over 25 years. She has trained and performed with some of the world’s top dance companies, including Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and The Joffrey Ballet.

Lauren’s passion for dance and her commitment to providing quality instruction, has made Parker Dance Academy one of the most respected and sought-after dance schools in the area.

Our Classes

Parker Dance Academy offers a wide range of classes for all ages and levels. Our classes include Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Contemporary, and more. We also offer private lessons and group classes.

Ballet

Our ballet classes are designed to help students develop grace, strength, and technique. Our experienced instructors will teach proper technique and terminology, while also providing a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Jazz

Our jazz classes are designed to help students develop rhythm, coordination, and musicality. Our experienced instructors will teach proper technique and terminology, while also providing a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Hip-Hop

Our hip-hop classes are designed to help students develop style, groove, and attitude. Our experienced instructors will teach proper technique and terminology, while also providing a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Tap

Our tap classes are designed to help students develop rhythm, timing, and precision. Our experienced instructors will teach proper technique and terminology, while also providing a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Contemporary

Our contemporary classes are designed to help students develop strength, flexibility, and expressiveness. Our experienced instructors will teach proper technique and terminology, while also providing a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Our Facility

Parker Dance Academy is located in Parker, Colorado. Our facility features two large studios, a changing area, and a lobby. Our studios are equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, and sound systems for optimal instruction and safety.
