Founded by renowned Irish dancer and instructor, Sarah O’Malley, the academy has been teaching traditional Irish dance for over 20 years. Our Mission

At O’Malley Irish Dance Academy, we strive to provide a safe, fun and educational environment for all of our students. We believe in giving each dancer the individual attention they need to reach their highest potential. We also strive to promote the culture and history of Irish dance, and to foster a sense of community among our dancers.

Classes and Programs

The O’Malley Irish Dance Academy offers a variety of classes and programs for all ages and levels. Our classes range from beginner to advanced and include traditional Irish step dancing, ceili dancing, sean-nós dancing, and more. We also offer specialized classes for adults, children, and teens. Our classes are taught by experienced and certified instructors who are passionate about Irish dance and its culture.

Competitions and Performance Opportunities

The O’Malley Irish Dance Academy offers a wide range of competitive and performance opportunities for our dancers. We participate in local and regional competitions, as well as national and international competitions. The O’Malley Irish Dance Academy is located in the heart of Brooklyn, at 3051 Nostrand Ave. Our facility is equipped with a full-size dance floor, sound system, and a comfortable waiting area for parents and friends. We also offer a variety of dance apparel and accessories for our dancers.
