The dance studio gives off a warm community vibe where the older ballerinas help out the younger ballerinas & act as positive role models. I assumed that all dance studios would feel like an assembly line of children passing through the doors as the owner holds out their money collecting jar….Northern Michigan Dance Academy is the opposite of that. The instructors are knowledgeable & good at what they do & it’s character is top notch.

My daughter has danced at this studio for a few years and has loved it. There is a gentle kindness to the environment and she loves the way the classes are organized. She enjoys the productions and it is wonderful to see the performances they put on for the community. They put their heart into all they do.
