Everyone at the Music, Dance & Art School of Douglaston is super friendly and helpful. My son Preston has Andrew as his piano teacher who is very patient with his students and brings an upbeat attitude to each class. Anna, the owner is very organized and flexible with the classes. When the pandemic hit, the classes moved to a virtual setup seamlessly. Preston has been going to this music school for several years now and looks forward to class each week without complaint.

My son has been learning music theory and piano at this school since he was five years old. He tells me, “my favorite part of the class is theory because I like drawing music notes and learning music with my friends in a group. I also like my piano teacher because he has a lot of piano skills that I get so impressed with. He is great because he helps me learn music scales on piano.”

My daughter started with piano in 2021 and now takes art and dance lessons as well. Her piano teacher, Ms Lily, is just incredible. MDASD is a great place and the staff are amazing, professional and great at what they do. I love the flexibility and amazing communication skills of the owners as well. I highly recommend and so glad I found them!

My son thoroughly enjoys his weekly piano lessons with Anna, who is one of the owners of the school. Anna's attentive teaching style and kind demeanor are reasons my son loves learning music and has gained an appreciation for the piano. There are careful Covid measures in place for in-person lessons. I am so pleased to have found the school.
