History

Mt Pleasant School of Performing Arts, LLC was established in 2019 by professional dancer and choreographer, Kelly Blumberg. After working in the dance industry for over twenty years, Kelly wanted to create a place where dancers could come to learn and grow. The school has since grown to become one of the top dance schools in the area, offering classes in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip-hop.

Mt Pleasant School of Performing Arts, LLC is dedicated to providing quality instruction in a safe and supportive environment. Our mission is to foster creativity and self-expression in our students, while also teaching them the discipline and technique necessary to become successful dancers. We strive to create an atmosphere where dancers of all ages and levels of experience can learn, grow, and excel in the art of dance.

Programs & Classes

Mt Pleasant School of Performing Arts, LLC offers a variety of classes and workshops for dancers of all ages and levels of experience. Our classes include ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip-hop. We also offer private lessons, group classes, and summer camps. We strive to create an atmosphere where dancers can learn, grow, and excel in the art of dance.

Performance Opportunities

Mt Pleasant School of Performing Arts, LLC also offers performance opportunities for our students. We have a student dance company, which performs throughout the year at various events. Our students also have the opportunity to participate in competitions and festivals, as well as to audition for professional dance companies.
