Morita’s School of Dance is a premier dance school located in Hermon, Maine. Founded in 1989 by the Morita family, the school offers classes in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and tap. The school also offers competitive teams in each of these styles and private lessons for students of all ages.

History

The Morita family has been involved in dance for generations. The patriarch of the family, Tatsuo Morita, was a renowned dancer in Japan before immigrating to the United States in the late 1950s. After settling in Maine, he and his wife, Mie, opened Morita’s School of Dance in 1989. Over the years, the school has become a renowned destination for dance education in the region.

Faculty

Morita’s School of Dance is staffed by a team of experienced dance instructors. All of the instructors have extensive experience in the dance styles offered at the school and are passionate about helping students reach their full potential. The school also employs a team of administrative staff who are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the school.

Programs

Morita’s School of Dance offers a variety of dance classes for students of all ages and abilities. The school offers classes in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and tap. All classes are taught by experienced instructors and are designed to help students develop their skills in the various dance styles.

The school also offers competitive teams in each of the dance styles. The competitive teams are open to students who have achieved a certain level of proficiency in their chosen dance style. The teams compete in regional and national competitions and have achieved success in recent years.

Morita’s School of Dance is located in Hermon, Maine. The school is conveniently located off of U.S. Route 2, just a short drive from Bangor, Maine. The school is also easily accessible by public transportation.

Morita’s School of Dance is open Monday through Thursday from 12:00pm to 8:30pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm. The school is closed on Fridays and Sundays.
