Minnesota Ballet Theatre & School

Minnesota Ballet Theatre & School is a premiere ballet school located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. We offer classes in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip-hop, and musical theatre, as well as a variety of performance opportunities. Our mission is to provide quality instruction in a nurturing and creative environment to inspire and develop the dancer in every student.

History

Minnesota Ballet Theatre & School was founded in 2002 by artistic director and principal teacher, Rebecca Hylen. Since its inception, the school has become a leader in the Midwest for quality ballet instruction and performance. Our students have gone on to pursue professional careers in dance, performing on stages around the world.

Faculty

Our faculty is comprised of highly trained and experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing students with the highest quality instruction. Our faculty members have extensive experience in the performing arts and have trained at some of the most prestigious schools in the world.

Programs

Minnesota Ballet Theatre & School offers a variety of programs and classes for students of all ages and abilities. We offer classes in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip-hop, and musical theatre. We also offer a variety of performance opportunities including our annual production of The Nutcracker, as well as our spring performance and summer intensive.

Classes

Our classes are designed to provide students with the opportunity to explore their creativity and develop their technique in a supportive and nurturing environment. We focus on providing quality instruction that is both challenging and fun. We offer classes for students of all ages and abilities, from the recreational dancer to the pre-professional.

Performances

At Minnesota Ballet Theatre & School, we believe in providing our students with the opportunity to perform and showcase their talents. We offer a variety of performance opportunities throughout the year, including our annual production of The Nutcracker, as well as our spring performance and summer intensive.

We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our students to grow and develop. We strive to create an atmosphere of respect and collaboration between our students, faculty, and staff. We are dedicated to fostering a community of dancers who work together to create an inspiring and creative environment.
