At Michelle’s School of Dance, we believe that dance is an art form that can bring joy and enrichment to people of all ages. We strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment in which our students can explore the world of dance.

Our studio is located in Polk City, Iowa, and we offer a variety of classes, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary dance. We also offer private lessons and special events.

Our History

Michelle’s School of Dance was founded in 2010 by Michelle Smith. After working as a professional dancer for many years, Michelle wanted to share her passion for dance with others and create a safe and welcoming environment for students to explore the art of dance.

Since its founding, Michelle’s School of Dance has become a well-known and respected dance studio in the Polk City area. We have been featured in several local publications and have won numerous awards for our commitment to providing quality dance instruction.

Our Classes

At Michelle’s School of Dance, we offer a variety of dance classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes include ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary dance. We also offer private lessons and special events.

Ballet

Our ballet classes are designed to help our students develop their technique and artistry. We focus on proper alignment, body placement, and the execution of steps. We also emphasize the importance of musicality and expression.

Our Schedule and Contacts

Our classes are offered Monday-Friday from 4pm-9pm. We also offer Saturday classes from 10am-3pm.
