The Michael Thomas Dance Center is a premier dance school located in New Albany, Indiana. We offer a wide variety of classes and programs for all ages and skill levels. Our mission is to provide quality dance instruction and create an environment of creativity and exploration.

History

The Michael Thomas Dance Center was founded in 1980 by Michael Thomas, a professional dancer and choreographer. He had a passion for teaching and wanted to create a place where people could learn to dance in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Since then, the dance center has grown to become the premier destination for dance instruction in the area.

Classes and Programs

The Michael Thomas Dance Center offers a variety of classes and programs for all ages and skill levels. We offer classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Modern, and Ballroom. We also offer specialized programs such as our Summer Intensive, Performance Troupe, and Private Lessons.

Faculty

Our faculty is comprised of experienced and highly-trained professionals who are dedicated to providing quality dance instruction. Our teachers have a passion for dance and strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.

The Michael Thomas Dance Center is located at 244 Vincennes St, New Albany, IN 47150. We are conveniently located near the University of Southern Indiana and the Louisville International Airport.

Hours of Operation
