Best ballroom in Charlotte! Great professionals and wonderful staff. The classes, parties and special events are great for everyone whether or not you have any experience in dance. There really is something for anyone who wants to dance and enjoy meeting other fun people. Great community feel! I’ve never walked into the ballroom for a lesson or class and didn’t leave feeling on top of the world! Love this place and my dance family!

My favorite place to be! A warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the instructors are topnotch! The group lessons are fun and a wonderful workout! They offer beginner and progressive groups so its easy to learn at your own level. I highly recommend the private lessons for individual attention. Couples lessons are available, with some couples getting ready for the first dance at their wedding! You won't find a better place!

We went to Metropolitan with the intention of learning to social dance as well as learn a dance for our upcoming wedding. We have participated in private lessons, group classes and social events and I can not say enough good things about our experience. The instructors are tremendous and everyone is welcoming regardless if you are just beginning or well on your way to being a great dancer.

I've been taking lessons with Alyona, with my wife Marilyn and by myself, for over 2 years. We've also had classes with Dimitri , Victoria and some group classes, with Mike. All have been excellent and have made me a much better dancer. Alyona is really exceptional. Great parties too! I recommend metropolitan for anyone, of any level, who wants to dance ballroom.
