Melissa’s Dance Studio is a dance school located in Muskogee, Oklahoma. It is owned and operated by Melissa, a professional dancer with over 20 years of experience. The studio offers a variety of classes and workshops, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and ballroom dancing. The studio is also home to Muskogee’s only competitive dance team, the Melissa’s Dance Studio All-Stars.

History of Melissa’s Dance Studio

Melissa’s Dance Studio was founded in 2002 by Melissa, a professional dancer with over 20 years of experience. She opened the studio with the goal of providing a safe and fun environment for people of all ages and abilities to learn and enjoy the art of dance. Since then, the studio has grown and expanded, offering a variety of classes and workshops for both children and adults.

Classes & Workshops at Melissa’s Dance Studio

At Melissa’s Dance Studio, we offer a wide range of classes and workshops for all ages and abilities. Our classes are designed to provide a fun and safe environment for our students to learn and enjoy the art of dance. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and ballroom dancing.

Ballet

Our ballet classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of ballet, including proper technique, posture, and alignment. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for both children and adults.

Jazz

Our jazz classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of jazz, including proper technique, rhythm, and musicality. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for both children and adults.

Tap

Our tap classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of tap, including proper technique, rhythm, and musicality. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for both children and adults.

Hip-Hop

Our hip-hop classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of hip-hop, including proper technique, rhythm, and musicality. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for both children and adults.

Contemporary

Our contemporary classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of contemporary, including proper technique, rhythm, and musicality. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for both children and adults.

Ballroom Dancing

Our ballroom dancing classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of ballroom dancing, including proper technique, rhythm, and musicality. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for both children and adults.

Melissa’s Dance Studio All-Stars

The Melissa’s Dance Studio All-Stars is Muskogee’s only competitive dance team. The team is comprised of both children and adults who are dedicated to perfecting their technique and performing to the best of their abilities. The team competes in both local and national competitions and has won numerous awards.
