Melinda’s School of Dance is a premier dance school located in Dakota City, Iowa. Founded by Melinda Johnson in 2011, the school has quickly become one of the top dance schools in the United States. The school offers classes for all ages and skill levels, and specializes in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and ballroom dancing.

History of Melinda’s School of Dance

Melinda Johnson had a passion for dance from a young age, and she dreamed of one day owning her own dance school. In 2011, she opened Melinda’s School of Dance in Dakota City, Iowa. Since then, the school has grown in popularity and is now one of the top dance schools in the United States.

At Melinda’s School of Dance, we offer classes for all ages and skill levels. Our classes include:

Ballet

We offer ballet classes for all ages, from toddlers to adults. Our experienced instructors will teach you the basics of ballet, as well as more advanced movements and choreography.

Jazz

Our jazz classes are perfect for those who want to learn how to move with the music. We offer classes for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers.

Hip-Hop

Our hip-hop classes are perfect for those who want to learn the latest dance moves. We offer classes for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers.

Ballroom Dancing

Our ballroom dancing classes are perfect for those who want to learn the elegant steps of ballroom dancing. We offer classes for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers.

Facilities at Melinda’s School of Dance

At Melinda’s School of Dance, we have a state-of-the-art facility that includes four spacious dance studios, a dressing room, and a lounge area. All of our studios are equipped with the latest technology, including sound systems and mirrors, to ensure that our students have the best possible experience.

Schedule and Contacts

Melinda’s School of Dance is open Monday through Friday from 2-10 PM and Saturday from 7:30 AM-12:30 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
