Massari-Wood Dance Center is a premier dance school in Chattanooga, Tennessee, offering a wide range of classes and instruction for all levels of dancers. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of dance education and to create an environment of respect and inclusivity in the dance community. We strive to provide a safe and positive learning environment for our students and to foster a sense of community among our students, instructors, and staff.

Our History

Massari-Wood Dance Center was founded in 1992 by husband and wife team, Tony and JoAnn Massari. Tony and JoAnn had been teaching dance in Chattanooga for a number of years and decided to open their own studio to provide a more comprehensive and professional dance education. Since then, Massari-Wood Dance Center has grown to become one of the leading dance schools in the region.

Our Instructors

At Massari-Wood Dance Center, we are proud to have a team of highly experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Our instructors are all certified by the National Dance Education Organization and have years of experience in teaching dance. Our instructors are passionate about teaching and strive to provide the best possible education to our students.

Our Classes

At Massari-Wood Dance Center, we offer a wide range of classes for all levels of dancers. Our classes include Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Ballroom. We also offer specialty classes such as Latin, Swing, and Ballroom. Our classes are designed to provide a comprehensive education in the various styles of dance and to help our students reach their full potential.

Our Facilities

At Massari-Wood Dance Center, we are proud to have one of the best dance facilities in the region. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, as well as a sprung floor to provide the best possible environment for our students. We also have a large dance studio, with a mirrored wall and barres, to provide our students with the best possible learning experience.

Our Schedule and Contacts

Massari-Wood Dance Center is open Monday through Thursday from 4-9 PM and Saturday from 11 AM-1 PM. We are closed on Friday and Sunday.
