Manassas Ballet Theatre (MBT) is a dance school, ballet school, dance company, and performing arts theater located in Manassas, Virginia. Since its founding in 1983, MBT has been dedicated to providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages and abilities. MBT offers a variety of classes in ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, tap, and creative movement, as well as performance opportunities.

The History of Manassas Ballet Theatre

MBT was founded in 1983 by Artistic Director and Choreographer, David J. G. Taylor. He began teaching classes in his home studio and eventually moved into a larger space in Manassas. Since then, MBT has grown into a full-fledged dance studio and performing arts theater.

MBT’s mission is to provide quality dance instruction to students of all ages and abilities in a safe and nurturing environment. MBT strives to provide a positive learning experience that encourages creativity, self-expression, and a love of dance.

The Programs at Manassas Ballet Theatre
