Mainstage Academy of Dance, located in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, is the premier ballet school in the United States. Founded in 1999, Mainstage is dedicated to providing the highest quality dance instruction in an environment that is both nurturing and challenging.

History

Mainstage Academy of Dance was founded by the renowned dancer and choreographer, Janice Main. Janice, a former principal dancer with the Joffrey Ballet, opened the school with the goal of providing dancers of all ages and levels with a comprehensive and rigorous ballet education.

Since its inception, Mainstage has been recognized as a leader in the field of dance. The school has been featured in numerous publications, including Dance Magazine, Dance Spirit, and Pointe Magazine. Mainstage has also been named one of the top 25 ballet schools in the country by Dance Magazine.
