What Students Say

We took a red eye flight and were worried about having a place to put stuff/nap so early in the morning. They had our room ready and let us check in 8 hours early (730am) at no extra charge! The rooftop bar had good drinks, nice staff. And most of all, so conveniently located! We were able to do most our activities were within a 1 mile walking distance: Central Park, museums, 5th Ave shopping, broadway musicals, etc. Loved it!

The hotel is an unassuming smaller property than some. It is very well located for Central Park, theaters and subway. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a very simple menu but the food is good. The continental is not worth the price. The other options are better. The concierge Asimina was very helpful. The lobby is small and so is the building footprint. The rooms are nice beds comfortable.

Our Manhattan King room was a bit dated, but despite that it had some little delightful features (e.g., a diffuse daylight light that’s easily accessible from bed to making waking up easier!), and awesome views of Central Park above floor 18 or so. Staff were very attentive and wonderfully welcoming/helpful. The one snafu on that front was quickly addressed my mgmt in a professional way. Overall, would recommend!

I mean…. They had a umbrella waiting for me in the room, so convenient. But really, service is amazing here. Everybody is so kind, they hold the door and the elevator for you when you enter the lobby. You get a nice sound system in every room, you're in the middle of a very happening part of town. Also the bathrooms are gorgeous, it just has a very high end feel. PS: No ice machines, kinda sucks
