The Lakeshore School of Performing Arts is a premier dance school located in Michigan City, Indiana. We specialize in providing a comprehensive dance education to students of all ages and levels. Our mission is to provide an environment where our students can learn, grow, and excel in the art of dance.

Our History

The Lakeshore School of Performing Arts was founded in 1992 by the renowned dancer and choreographer, Karen Black. With her passion for dance and her commitment to excellence, she has created a school that is dedicated to providing the highest quality dance instruction to its students.

Our Programs

At Lakeshore, we offer a wide variety of dance classes for all ages and levels. Our classes range from beginner to advanced and include ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and more. We also offer a variety of music classes, including piano, guitar, and voice.

Our Facilities

The Lakeshore School of Performing Arts is located in a beautiful facility in Michigan City, Indiana. Our facility includes two large dance studios, a music room, and a lounge area. Our studios are fully equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, and barres. Our music room is equipped with a grand piano, a variety of other instruments, and a recording studio.

The Lakeshore School of Performing Arts is proud to have a highly qualified and experienced staff of teachers and administrators. Our teachers are passionate about teaching and have a wealth of knowledge and experience in their respective fields. Our staff is dedicated to providing the highest quality instruction to our students.
